Incident: We are currently experiencing issues connecting to the PostFinance services used for BVR / QR-core payment processing. Technical message: Cannot connect to mftp1.postfinance.ch:8022. Error 101 – Network is unreachable.

Impact: Automatic BVR / QR-core payment files cannot currently be transmitted to PostFinance. Your automatic payments may be delayed until PostFinance services are fully restored. No action is required on your side: all pending transactions will be sent as soon as the connection to PostFinance is available again.

Cause: The incident is related to a network/service outage on the PostFinance side. Our internal systems are operating normally but cannot reach the mftp1.postfinance.ch platform.

Status & Next Steps: Our teams are actively monitoring the situation and remain in contact with PostFinance. This page will be updated as soon as: the connection to the MFTP service is restored, and BVR / QR-core payment processing resumes as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Timeline Updates:
  • The connectivity issue with PostFinance’s BVR / QR-core services has been resolved. The connection to mftp1.postfinance.ch is now fully operational again.
